Als ich 14 Jahre alt war, hatte ich alle Bücher aus der Kinderabteilung unserer lokalen Bibliothek gelesen. Hilfesuchend wendete ich mich an die Bibliothekarin, welche mir "Solange du da bist" von Marc Levy in die Hand drückte. Sie habe es eben ausgelesen und mochte das Buch von dem neuen französichem Autor sehr.
Wie sich herausstellte, war >zu Hause< kein bestimmter Ort, sondern ein Gefühl, das von den Menschen ausging, die ich am meisten liebte, ein Gefühl von Frieden, dass das Feuer in meiner Seele beruhigte.
Es kommt höchstens 1x alle 2 Wochen vor, dass ich mich auf Youtube verliere. Nächte gehen drauf mit Jimmy Fallon, über Tasty Japan und irgendwann die privaten Vlogs von den Tanten irgendwelcher Cousinen. Ich verfolge keinen Channel geziehlt und muss gestehen dass ich kaum Ahnung habe, wer eine grosse Nummer ist, und wer nicht.

Ever since All the bright places, Niven has managed to get quite popular with the readers. Even before the publishing date, customers would come by and ask about the book. When would we get it? Would we be delivered on time? Is pre-order available?
Meine Meinung:
Durchschnittlich lese ich 3 Bücher simultan. Eines auf der Arbeit, eines Zuhause und eines im Fitnessstudio, wenn ich auf dem Laufband vor mich hinschlender. Wenn ich Glück habe, gefällt mir eines der Drei so gut, dass es übergreifend mein einziges Buch wird, bis ich es beendet habe. A little Life war so ein Buch.
I have to admit, I completly forgot about Amanda Hockings. Some years ago, she published this strange, horrific series called "The Trylle Series - Switched, Torn and Ascend" about a girl finding she is a Troll and becoming the queen over them. That series was so bad, I couldn't help but read them all. I enjoyed this serie in a strange "oh this is the worst, I have to read all night" way.
Oh boy, this was THE title I wanted to read since I knew of its existence. Last year netgalley approved me to "More happy than not" and it became my most favourite book of that year. I couldn't wait to get my hands on something new by Silvera. Again, Netgalley and Soho Press were incredible nice to me.
"Veronika beschliesst zu sterben" meets "I'm a Robot".
Zwei Elemente ertsuanten mich an diesem Buch: Dass Lea noch so Jung ist. Das Buch wirkte dadurch als gehöre es in die gehobene New Adult LYX-Schiene, was bei mir durchaus ein Kompliment ist, aber das wundervolle Ambiente, das ernste Thema und die Umsetzung lässt an Coehlo erinnern, mit bisschen mehr Humor.

I have to admit when i saw this book on netgalley it so didn't catch my eye. Then i fastly became one of the most requested books on there. Of course now i was curious. Sounds like thriller-ish young adult. Do I like this? not really... So I didn't asked for the galley. When I got the Spring preview for the Store, there it was again. Yellow Lizzie staring at me.
