The 5th Wave
von Richard Yancey

Now I can't wait to watch the movie!

The 5th Wave is about first contact and what happens next, an alien invasion of the earth that takes place over several waves. 1st Wave: lights out. 2nd Wave: surf's up. 3rd Wave: pestilence. 4th Wave: Silencer. Our protagonist, Cassie, has lost everyone - except for her younger brother Sammy, who she has made it her sole mission to rescue.

Wonder Boys - Michael Chabon

What a bust.

I really hated it. I couldn't get into it, it bored me to dead. Immediately after deciding to officially DNF this one, I smiled for the first time since I had chosen to pick it up.

More Than Forever - Jay McLean

More Than Forever

‘More Than’ 5 Stars.

More Than Forever is book four in the More Than series by Jay McLean. This is an emotional, hilarious, beautiful, heart breaking, and a healing tale of a first love, an only love, a FOREVER love. It’s a story of love, loss and hope. A story that will make you believe in real and true love.

A Profoundly Beautiful Novel Filled With Insights About Life, Loss, Mystery And Hope!

More Than Him - Jay McLean

Eleventy-three Stars.

There is something magical about this series. Whether it’s the characters themselves, the amazing writing, the humor, I don’t know, but together it makes for a deeply emotional yet sweetly endearing New Adult series that have taken a hold of my heartstrings and won’t let go.

More Than Her
von Jay McLean

Wow, where do I even start?

This is the second book in the More Than Series. I loved book one so much, I was a little nervous to read the second. If you’ve read More Than This, you’ve met Logan and if you haven’t read it, you really should, ASAP!

Girls in Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood - Ann Brashares

Girls in Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood
von Ann Brashares

Not as good as the first book.

This is going to be a very short, just because I have very little to say.

The third summer of the sisterhood takes place before their freshman year of college. This is an important time in their life and they are anxious for their futures. Everyone this summer is staying in Bethesda except for Bridget who attends soccer camp in Pennsylvania.

More Than This

I completely and utterly Loved this book!!!

This book hooked me from the start and I couldn’t put it down. This is a sad but oh so sweet story.

Dark Companion - Marta Acosta

Dark Companion
von Marta Acosta

A dark and mysterious coming of age book with a twist of paranormal on top.

Dark Companion is different from anything I've ever read. It's a Gothic novel with a dark vibe, sweet romance, and original plot twists.

Beautiful Redemption (Book 4) - Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl

Beautiful Redemption (Book 4)
von Kami Garcia Margaret Stohl

Way too long!

There are books that you savor every page that you read and books that you simply couldn't wait to finish. Beautiful Redemption is a overstretched, boring journey and I coudn't wait to finish it.

The Hunger Games - Mockingjay - Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games - Mockingjay
von Suzanne Collins

A total disappointment.

My goodness. I finally done it, I finished this book...took me forever but I'm done, trying to finish this book felt like a chore. When reading for enjoyment starts feeling like a chore, that's the ultimate sign that I dislike the book. Well, about 90% of the book.

This book was REALLY anti-climactic, filled with so many disappointments I lost count.

Scott, L: Zwillingsschwester - Lisa Scott

Die Zwillingsschwester
von Lisa Scott

Leider keine Leseempfehlung.

"Für die junge Anwältin Bennie Rosato grenzt es an Magie: Die zum Tode verurteilte Alice Connolly, um deren Verteidigung sie gebeten wird, sieht exakt aus wie sie selbst!

Linger - Maggie Stiefvater

Linger
von Maggie Stiefvater

Nothing really happened.

Despite the writing being lyrical, the book failed to grab me. Well, I really hate to say it, but I did not love Linger. I tried to love it, but sadly, I just don’t. The book wasn't bad - rather slow, though - but it was one of those sequels that wouldn't really have been necessary in my opinion.

Twilight. 10th Anniversary Edition / Life and death. Twilight reimagined - Stephenie Meyer

Twilight. 10th Anniversary Edition / Life and death. Twilight reimagined
von Stephenie Meyer

It totally works and I loved it.

I adore the Twilight Saga it's my favourite book series ever and I own so much to that series.

Shopaholic & Sister - Sophie Kinsella

Shopaholic & Sister
von Sophie Kinsella

Once again, this book is hilarious and witty and simply crazy!

Another great addition to the Shopaholic series. In this 4th novel in the Shopaholic series, Becky thought being married to Luke Brandon would be one big Tiffany box of happiness. But to be honest, it's not quite as dreamy as she'd hoped. The trouble started on honeymoon, when she told Luke the tiniest little fib, about the teeniest little purchase.

Shiver - Maggie Stiefvater

Shiver
von Maggie Stiefvater

Either you like it, or you don't.

The plot itself is clearly focused on Grace and Sam's relationship - and not much else - so if you are looking for action and suspense, you should probably look elsewhere.

Maze Runner 2. The Scorch Trials - James Dashner

Maze Runner 2. The Scorch Trials
von James Dashner

WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON?

Once again the prospect of a movie adaptation compels me to read the book first.

The Book of You - Claire Kendal

The Book of You
von Claire Kendal

Disappointing ending.

The Book of You by Claire Kendal, a debut psychological thriller of obsession, and a disturbing portrait of a sadistic stalker who believes himself to be in love, and a victim trying desperately to escape.
