Typische Romantasy, fesselnd geschrieben
Greta Milán konnte mich mit mehreren Büchern im Romance Bereich begeistern, daher war ich auf dieses Romantasy Werk besonders gespannt.
Der Einstieg ist mir leicht gefallen, die Geschichte liest sich leicht und flüssig. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit konnte ich tief in die Erzählung abtauchen und folgte gebannt der Entwicklung.
Man startet mit Nayla, die einen schweren Autounfall überlebt und kurz darauf Philemon und Cyrian begegnet. Ähnlich wie der Hauptcharakter Nayla wird man beim Lesen in eine mysteriöse Welt geworfen und folgt gespannt wie sich Nayla dort behauptet.
Diese Geschichte bedient sich der römischen Mythologie, die für meinen Geschmack fast etwas zu kurz kommt. Sehr gelungen fand ich die Kombination der göttlichen Eigenschaften mit einzelnen Charakteren. Überhaupt hat mir die Charaktergestaltung gefallen, auch wenn das ein oder andere Klischee bedient wird.
Schnell entwickelt Nayla tiefere Gefühle für Cyrian, doch ist Liebe für sie etwas sehr gefährliches. Das Aufkeimen der Gefühle hat die Autorin sehr schön eingefangen.
Das Ende lässt auf den nächsten Band warten und der Epilog steigert dies nochmals.
Zum Glück ist die Wartezeit auf den zweiten Teil nicht zu lange. Der Schwur der Göttin - Before Destiny ist für Januar 2022 angekündigt.
